The Kiffar Lily
The beautiful Kiffar Lily is Chang Chun City Flower. I have one these precious plants from there. It was a gift from a family member who has lived there his whole life. I have been watching carefully for a scape. When I was about to conclude it would not open this year due to a transplant I did last fall to my delight and amazement up popped a scape loaded with buds! Over the next few weeks it will bloom and fill the living room with the most wonderful color.

So Good To Hear From Family There!
Last night I spoke to my sister-in-law in north east China. It was so good to hear her voice. We spoke through a long distance program on Lucy's lap top. I have a wonderful family in China! God bless them today! (or I should say tonight since there is a 12 hours difference.
